Details
Bamburgh travel poster and seaside print by Becky Bettesworth.
Becky was commissioned to create this artwork by the clothing giant Barbour to launch their Summer Clothing shop for 2020. Barbour and Becky Bettesworth have a shared appreciation for the travel posters of the 1930s. Barbour discovered the art prints of Becky Bettesworth and began following her on social media. Barbour believed Becky's vintage style seaside prints were perfectly suited to their values and aesthetic and they invited Becky to collaborate her artwork to assist in promoting their new range of clothing. Sharing a passion for supporting small businesses and appreciating artists they decided to work together. This is a joint venture by two British businesses that are rooted in nostalgia.
Bamburgh Castle is on the North East coast of England by the village of Bamburgh in Northumberland and is a Grade I listed building. This majestic castle belongs to the Armstrong family and is open to the public. Set alongside the grassy dunes with a breathtaking view of the long deserted beach, ideal for families and dog walkers. Showing off the splendour of this sweeping beach and beautiful stretch of wild coastline and the sunrise is just fantastic.
"I hope you love the artwork as much as I have loved creating it It is no surprise that it has been voted Britain's best beach by The Telegraph 2019."
