Who We Work With

We partner with suppliers who meet the following criteria:

• Independent Identity: Makers, studios, or small brands with clear authorship over their designs.

• Cornish Connection: Products designed, made, or meaningfully inspired by Cornwall's culture, landscape, or heritage.

• Quality & Integrity: Small-scale, ethical, or design-led production that prioritises quality over volume.

• Originality: We do not work with generic wholesale goods, dropshippers, or mass-produced items with no creative input.

What We Don't Accept

To maintain the integrity of Cornwall Collective, we do not work with:

• Generic wholesale or catalogue-based products

• Dropshippers or arbitrage sellers

• Mass-produced goods with no creative input

• Products widely available on major marketplaces

• Cornwall-branded items with no meaningful local involvement

How the Partnership Works

Cornwall Collective acts as the retailer of record.

• This means:
• Brand Management: We manage the storefront, marketing, and the end-to-end customer experience.
• Centralised Support: Customers purchase directly from us, and we handle all customer enquiries and support
• We prefer to use Shopify Collective to connect with suppliers, allowing us to manage products, inventory, and fulfilment efficiently.
• However, we can also work with independent makers who do not use Shopify. In these cases, we manage orders and inventory through a manual or semi-automated system tailored to your specific setup.

What We Expect From Suppliers

To ensure a consistent and professional experience for our customers, all partners must be able to meet these standards:

• 14-Day Return Window: You must honour our store-wide 14-day return policy for "change of mind" requests.

• 48-Hour Response: You must provide return shipping instructions or labels within 48 hours of an approved request.

• Reliable Dispatch: We aim for a standard dispatch timeframe of 5 business days.

• Tracking & Fulfilment: You must provide valid tracking details immediately upon dispatch to trigger our automated customer notifications.

• Compliance: All products must meet UK product safety and labelling requirements.

We may request samples before or after onboarding.

We aim to work collaboratively and transparently while maintaining consistent standards across the site.

Supplier Visibility

We feature suppliers through:

• Dedicated supplier collections

• Short brand profiles and stories

• Editorial content where appropriate

We do not publicly display supplier contact details, and Cornwall Collective handles all customer enquiries.
